Yep!  That skull and cross bones icon gets used a lot for just such 
circumstances!

Another fun thing to do with the GPS and the dog:
Our dogs have packs they wear hiking.  If we are on a trail that they 
can be off leash, it is fun to put the GPS on their pack and let them 
go.  Our guys only scout ahead so far, then come running back to us. 
Its fun to see how many extra miles they put on!
