I also have a big dog. Ronin is 1/2 German Shepherd, with the other 1/2 probably chow/rotty or some such. 85 lbs+ He was dumped off in front of our house as a pup, so no way to be sure. His job is to warn me/keep the bad guys off long enough for me to handle it. I don't kid myself that he could take a perp with a gun.
