How many other geocachers here in the Valley consider the Bat Cave Cache to be litter? Here in AZ, with the number of geocachers high, we all cooperate and can help maintain Caches like this, if they ever encounter problems. No special trip from Florida should be needed. If that Cache ever disappears, or causes problems, I am sure that someone here will step in to help. As far as I am concerned, the Boca Boys would be doing their part if they get on the web site (from Florida) and then disable or archive the Cache (if it ever has problems), and send a few emails to us AZ people that have found it, to check on it. As far as I'm concerned, the biggest problem is people just plain dropping out of geocaching, whether they live close to their Caches or not. Then they won't do anything for their Caches, regardless of what happens. Off tip-off to a possible dropout: if the date they last logged in to Geocaching.com is quite some time ago, they've probably dropped out. You can see this if you check someone's profile, if you're logged in.
