Dumped COX all together. Went to Dish Network for the TV and back to dial-up for awhile. Dish also offers satellite internet http://www.starband.com but you have to buy the equipment. I was very frustrated at first. When it works, it works real well. When there are problems, I've had a lot of trouble finding someone to talk to who knew what they were talking about. There were a lot of problems between Cox and Excite. Now that Cox took it over, things have stabilized a bit. I don't have a lot of choices for high speed internet services. I'm 500 feet too far from my central office for DSL service and I haven't had any better experience with Qwest.
