Friday morning, soon after I had gotten on the trail for my Cholla Forest and Other Side of the Needle adventure, I passed a group of 20 senior citizens who were doing the 9 mile loop hike. As I was passing them, I heard one woman comment to another, "He must be a geocacher." I looked like any normal hiker, with a daypack on my back and my GPS around my neck. I guess our hobby has hit the mainstream of society. The sight of a GPS means geocaching. Or, that senior citizen could be one of our snowbird geocachers!
