Jerry If you haven't seen the Geocache Rating System, check out http://www.clayjar.com/gcrs/ I think it is useful for getting an initial rating on terrain and difficulty. I usually answer the questions and see how it rates a new cache, then I adjust it if I think it was too high or low on one of the rating.
