It may be the road in from Camp Verde that APS keeps passable. The signs are probably state/county and are there to cover their liability. There was some concern about a year ago when APS said they were going to close the two power plants and let Fossil Creek revert to its natural state, rather than being diverted through the flumes. The concern was over what would happen to the road once APS no longer maintained it. So someone is maintaining it to some extent. So Cody, who was driving for the "white knuckle" descent? I thought it was a fun road and I managed to stay out of the ditch on this road and all other roads. Even took the Dakota in when we planted the Table Mesa cache last year. Sorry Bob, No BUF PUT this trip {:-(. We had Cheryl's Blazer. There are signs saying that the road ahead is considered primitive and not maintained. As for Bob's Dodge, just tell when and where to pull him out of a ditch ;-). Cody
