Looks like you'd better keep the contour interval in mind when using
the Garmin software in the field...what looks like a gentle slope could
be a cliff!<br>

&nbsp;1:100,000 as I said, but the elevation profiles are not standard for
1:100,000 maps.. Meaning the contour lines could be 40', 80', 100', 30
meter, 90 meters etc...<br>

&nbsp;Looking at the online tool it looks like 163 feet per contour line in
the demo version but I am trying to find out if this is the same for
the purchased applicaion.. <br>
