[Az-Geocaching] Windows-less Caching databases

My boxes, aside from one iMac, are all PPC boxes.  I don't want to buy  
more hardware, especially if it won't run Mac OS.

I've been inside UN*X for over 30 years (yep, even USG 3), and my  
inclinations aren't to built a system.   I'd rather build my own  
application, which is where I think this may be heading.
