Wow we might actually be able to go as the husband is saying it's rated a 3 and the Dodge can do 3's. So you might have 2 more (unless we take 1 truck). If it's still available? We've got a lifted Dodge and a lifted Taco.

Brad, as of now the plan is to do this trip on June 29th (Sun) you are welcome to ride with me, I think I will have room, if not we will try to find someone else that has room, I will let you know.
The trip will be 17 miles off road with 4 existing caches and I am placing 3 new caches for a total of 7. It should take about 5 hours with stops and lunch on the trail. We will leave from Catalina and exit in Oracle. We should leave around 8 am.

I will let you know as we get closer.

Mel

I'm interested but there's no way our stock Rodeo would make the trip, so I'm looking for a seat / trying to persuade some of my buddies with modified rigs to go along.Brad, 1/2 of Team Nine Lives

There has been some interest shown in a Geocache hunt through Charouleau Gap. The off road miles would be around 18 and there are at least 4 caches to be found. I will be taking my Jeep Cherokee and have 2, maybe 3 - seats spoken for, I know of 2 other Jeeps that would like to go.
I would like to keep the total of vehicles to around 6.
This is a difficult 4X4 trail but with help we can get everyone through. You will most likely get some dings if you have a stock vehicle.

Please respond if you have interest on making this trip, I have planned on Sunday June 23rd meeting in Catalina at Basha's (Oracle & Golder Ranch Rd) will travel south to north and I think that is the most scenic.

You will need water and lunch as the trip should take about 5 hours depending on time spent looking for caches and any problems.
