[Az-Geocaching] off topic, can anyone translate this code?

How long would the keyword have to be? Why is it in groups of 5 letters? This is a person on another unrelated website who has over 2300 posts. This is part of his sig line. 'Chief' or 'whysoblind' might be possible keywords.

Thank you Rand, Brian and Regan for the responses and help.

  Gale,

It appears to be a Polyalphabetic Cipher (all 26 letters are used). It may be the Vigenere Cipher. If so, you will need a KEYWORD for solving. Is there anything in the context (or subject) of the post (or email) that you received that could be used as a keyword?

If you're not sure what you're looking for in your post (email), send everything that was written and I'll see what I can find. Otherwise, you'll need to reverse engineer the cipher by looking for common words in the CIPHERTEXT (the text that you posted below).

Someone I know posted this and I cant translate it. He wont tell me what it means. Can anyone help me out? It is not a geocaching puzzle. It has nothing to do with geocaching at all, even though it looks like an Enigma like code.
