What he said. Not only that, GSAK can export to: NG Topo,  MS Streets 
and Trips, DeLorme Street Atlas, MapSend (Magellan), ---> Long list!

So now we have:
EMail--->GSAK--->GPS
                          |--->PDA
                          |--->Your favorite mapping software
