[Az-Geocaching] Mexican relations

Not at all.  I was speaking specifically about where this thread was
heading.  As was suspected, the comment was taken out of context due to lack
of knowledge of the situation from an overall perspective.

My comment was speaking specifically about those 'regulars' that
officers/dispatchers/firefighters dealt with frequently, known to be town
alcoholics.  The same folks that would line up outside the Rainbow Bar or
Empire Bar 90 minutes before they opened with cases of beer under their
arms.  Not all are like that, but like so many other things in society,
opinions are formed by the observation of few (not always correct).  These
same folks are the ones I referred to in regard to the numerous medicals
calls FD is sent on because a drunken walk down the road ends with a passed
out person sprawled across a planter on one of the downtown roadways.

At no time did I have an opinion of those I spoke about until my direct
interaction in that specific position gave me unique observations I wouldn't
get otherwise.  I know that many around here have a sour opinion of the
Native Americans that live in the region, and I didn't form any sort of
opinion until I had that exposure.  If you want to turn this into a yellow
snow contest, take it private.   My comment about insensitive comments was
meant at those among the AZ community who might take offense to comments
made about their race as a very narrow-minded observation.

I would be glad to pick apart my original comments, and put them IN CONTEXT
and fully explained to identify just where/when/how/why I formed any
opinions I hold.  It's only a text-based search away.

Oh NO! We wouldn't want to offend the Mexicans, Brian. I seem to remember a 
couple of statements about the Indian Community in Montana awhile  back. Of 
course, I guess that's different. My .02 worth.......
