I purchased a PC adaptor from 'gpsgeek' on eBay. It has worked flawlessly
for over a year and I'm quite impressed with the construction. I would have
no problems buying other adaptors from them.

And as always, I have no vested interested in gpsgeek and this is my
experience. Your mileage may vary.

Last year, prior to going on a trip, I bought the ~$35 Garmin DC adapter. I
discovered it was broke within the package when I got it out of the store. I
got one off eBay soon after, for about $10. No problems since. Go with the
cheaper, one; they are all made in Taiwan, anyways.

Have any of you used the generic cigarette lighter adapter for the eTrex
series GPS that is selling on eBay? Has anyone used one for a different
GPS? If you have ever used one, did it work well, or did you have issues
with it?
