Six miles round trip from the Butterfly Trail trailhead near, ummmm....
soldier camp. The hike in is mostly 3 miles down hill to Novio Spring. I
think that is a descent of nearly 1000ft. The hike out therefore is three
miles uphill.

Andy

Six miles round trip from Palisades Rangers station or 6 miles one-way
from Summerhaven.

  >Want to do it with me? :)

Sure, there are a few more up there that I would like to find, it would
make up a nice day of caching. Anybody else want in?

I have to build myself up mentally (and horde enough water) to do the
six mile hike to check on Hollywood Arizona. Want to do it with me? :) As
for Dash for the Cash Cache, I'm not sure if Soldier Trail is open.

When are you cachers that have caches in the Catalinas going to
unarchive them? You know who you are :).
