The October issue of "QST" magazine has an article on how to home-brew
your own external GPS antenna. I liked the idea of using the bottom of a
cream-cheese container as the radome.

QST is the monthly magazine of the American Radio Relay League, the US
Amateur Radio organization. You can probably find it in the magazine
section of the large bookstore chains.
