One thing I might add to the lists of survival gear,
is a knowledge of the medicinal properties of plants.
You'd be amazed at how beneficial common "weeds" can
be in a survival situation (not to mention the
indigenous plants out in the wild). Of course, not ALL
plants are benficial! Don't use any plant unless it is
POSITIVELY identified.
