That thought certainly crossed my mind, too.

No, read some of the find logs on their other caches. Unless the loggers
are playing along with an elaborate joke, they're putting genuine
Canadian currency in their caches, along with other toys (GPSRs, etc.)
that aren't exactly "cache trache" either.
