[Az-Geocaching] batteries are they worth it?

I don't trust rechargeable batteries (they don't have the strength as alk=
aline batteries). I change my batteries when the power drops under 50% o=
n my etrex battery indicator. =20

After getting near a few caches and getting pointed in the general direct=
ion of the cache we at Team Evil Fish were able to log a find, but after =
getting the satellite kicked out of us and me on two cache attempts I cam=
e to the realization that my sight really needs checked, I blame the batt=
eries..

Allright I finally broke down and reinvested in new batteries, bought the=
Energizer MAX was that a good choice? there was talk about Re-chargeable=
ones but what brands and types of AA do you all prefer??
