[Az-Geocaching] Go way north

Personally, I prefer walking to 4-wheeling, but regardless of
your mode of getting there, they won't let you in, in most of AZ
right now.  At least at most elevations above the desert areas,
where it'll be too hot very soon.

I would say either go to Utah, or wait until after July 1.
As of a few days ago, I myself wasn't planning on going out
of the state until October.  But now, with a few spare vacation
days I could use, I might just take a couple days off in mid-June,
and take a 4-day trip to Utah (hmmm...maybe I should pick up
some TBs).

The primary reason is just to get into a forested hi-country area
and HIKE.  Finding caches is secondary, but would add more
justification to such a trip.  I do appreciate the data from
Highpointer about Utah having more caches per capita than any
other western state.  I would never have guessed that- I would
have thought AZ had the most per capita!  But, with 2 great
reasons to head up to Utah, I'm setting my sights north right now.

I'm sure there's plenty of 4WD areas all thru that state.  I don't
know if any of their national forests could close, but it seems
much less likely there, their drought is nowhere near as severe
as in AZ.  They also have a ton of high desert areas that lack
fuel for wildfires, and probably wouldn't ever close.  These areas
are very scenic, kind of like Sedona without the housing
developments and sprawl.  If your 4WD gets stuck somewhere,
though, you could really be in the middle of nowhere there.
