Subject: [Az-Geocaching] Groundhog Day

I am pleased to announce that Scott Wood of the US Forest Service has
graciously offered to provide an all-day training session expressly for
Arizona Geocachers on Sunday, February 2, 2003. The training will =
enable us
to become more sensitive to and aware of the presence of historical and
archaeological sites in Arizona.
=20
The training will commence PROMPTLY at 9 AM at the Cave Creek Ranger
Station, 40202 North Cave Creek Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85262 =
(approximately N
33=B0 51.015=B4 W 111=B0 50.005). Participants should bring note-taking =
equipment,
lunch, water, and dress and gear appropriate for spending a fair =
portion of
the day outdoors. In the unlikely event of bad weather, the training =
will be
rescheduled. The training will conclude at approximately 4 PM. There is =
no
charge.
=20
Enrollment will be limited to the first 18 people who sign up with me =
(Judi
and I make 20), although I will maintain a waiting list. Please direct =
any
questions to me, and if I don't have the answer I will forward them to
Scott.
=20
Because it is limited enrollment, there will be no event cache.
